Enrolling, step by step
There is no online checkout and no account to create. It is a short conversation, and then a place.

Tell us about the swimmer
Age, what they can already do in the water, which days and times suit you, and any health information we should know about — asthma, a recent operation, a hearing aid, anything that helps us keep them safe and comfortable. A sentence or two is plenty to get started, and we will ask about anything else we need. If you are enquiring for more than one child, send their ages together so we can look at placing them in back-to-back slots from the outset rather than trying to line things up later.

A free assessment, if it helps
Ten minutes on a Saturday morning or a Wednesday afternoon in term time. A teacher gets in the water with a younger child, or watches an adult swim a width, and recommends a level the same day. There is no obligation to book afterwards, and nothing to pay for the assessment itself. If you would rather simply watch a class from the gallery first, to get a feel for how we work before committing to anything, you are very welcome to do that instead — just tell reception you are here to look.

Invoice and first lesson
Fees are due before the first lesson, by bank transfer or by card at the office. After that the place rolls over each term automatically until you tell us otherwise, so there is no need to re-book every term or to remember a renewal date. If paying a whole term at once is difficult, ask us about splitting it into two payments — we would far rather arrange that quietly than lose a swimmer over the timing of a bill.
Before you write
A few details save a round of back-and-forth:

None of this is required. Send what you have and we will ask about the rest.
Getting to Meadowbrook Leisure Pool
By car
The leisure centre has its own car park, free for the first ninety minutes with a ticket from the machine in the foyer. It is busiest at the Saturday changeover times, roughly quarter past and quarter to the hour, so allow a few extra minutes if you are arriving then. Two accessible bays sit directly outside the main entrance and are kept clear for blue-badge holders rather than used for general parking. There is a short drop-off point beside the door if someone is waiting in the car with a swimmer.
By bus
The nearest stop is about a four-minute walk from the entrance, served by the local town services throughout the day and into the early evening. The route from the stop to the door is level and lit, and passes the front of Riverbend Commons, so it is easy to follow after dark on a winter evening. Timetables are posted at the stop itself; the daytime services are frequent enough that most families do not bother to check one in advance.
A quick map of the site
Meadowbrook Leisure Pool is Unit 3 at Riverbend Commons, set back from the main road behind the car park. The main entrance faces the car park; the side entrance, with the bike racks, is on the footpath side. Reception is straight ahead as you come in, with the changing village and both pools beyond it.
If you are coming for a free assessment or to watch a class from the gallery, just tell reception when you arrive and they will point you the right way.
